Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Human Skin?

Hi everyone! Does anyone have, or know where to find, a good skin shader/texture? I went to AW but they didn't seem to have a good shader for human skin. Or, I didn't know where to look. Any suggestions? TKU in advance.

You can go to www.pixho.com and try his sub surface
scattering shader, it gives a nice look. Pixho rocks.

Also, check you this guys site:

He creates very realistic humans and has some nice downloads.

The key to realistic skin is using photos for your texture
maps, it makes all the difference. user added image
