modeling an electric guitar..been a few weeks since i have touched maya.. and im still learning this is what i have so far

The main thing that I notice is it obviously needs a bit harder edges around the parameter of the guitar face.

ello,

I was thinking of modelling a guitar

looking good so far - just one thing I think the neck seems a little short - might only get 17-18 frets on that)

Is it modelled on any particular model of guitar - the body looks like a type of Ibanez

just used a strat shape..to start everythign else is modeled independantly

i know it needs work but thats all i could be arsed working on this project, model wise..im gunna chucks some flames on it and make a short animation

Hey Vamp..

I would easy up on the bump on the gold shader.. it looks too big to me. Also the volume knobs looks a bit more like nippels than volmume knobs, but maybe that hs the base of the guitar that does it, because its such an organic and soft shape.

Looking forward to see more..
