Hey vect........You can use wings 3d to make the springs.

springs, you can do taht with maya, just get nurbs cylinder and use snap to verts with the cv curve tool around the cylinder to get your spring shape then extrude a circle along it, i saw someone mention that here, so woot to them

argh sorry its late, started rendering before mid night but it took longer than i though, ive spent A lot of today on this especially on keyboard, im happy with the render but i could do better, i didnt expect to be so busy during the competition, but i think i pulled it off thanks to my good friend Final Gather. FINAL RENDER:

Final gather helps alot, it takes time though. Like your stuff Laurie, hope to see vectors final before deciding

Thanx! The desk textures came from some video i shot up close of it, and i stiched it all together by hand.
