Default Final Gather + File Texture

IMG 0.0 error 101003: ...er/Eigene Dateien/maya/projects/default/textures/Red Sun.gif: unrecognized file format, not an image file
API 0.0 error 301090: undefined ctexture symbol "file3:tex"
API 0.0 error 301105: undefined color texture "file3:tex"
API 0.0 error 301099: failed to open texture file C:/Dokumente und Einstellungen/Kai Rohweder/Eigene Dateien/maya/projects/default/textures/Red Sun.gif

Are you just re-naming your extension?

..or are you actually CONVERTING it in Photoshop, and saving it out as a different file type?

...just curious
