Multi patch animation problem

Sorry if this is a repost. I took a look but didnt see this topic. Anyone know how to animate a Multipatch nurbs object without it falling apart?

im gonna start calling you 'Poly Mike' if you dont stop saying convert it LOL. you are a poly-aholic. Thats ok, cause your really good at it though.

I need to keep it nurbs. but stupid me forgot to just use indirect skinning. How forgetful i am.

I'd love to use poly's but they are too memory intensive. that keeps me from using them so much. some jobs i do have to be nurbs though.

any hints on how to speed up poly response when your at 2000 verts?
