Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Cool concept.
I was thinking about doing something similar, but I changed my mind.

I like the idea. Im little skeptical that you can make a dragon not look "fantasy", but I shall look forward to the results. Nice drawing of a wing, it looks fleshy, where as the head concept looks robotic..

well the dragon is going to be mostly robotic and im going to have sections of the wraiths arm and chest ripped open so i can show the mechanical side of him too, im still rethinking alot of it so ill see what i come up with.

Pretty neat, so far. user added image

I'd probably make sure it's at its lowest resolution and do an auto-map. Then take those and adjust/sew/cut as needed. That's just how I do it though. When you increase the resolution, the UV map should still stick.
