How do you render it, do you use hardware so it gives a render like what you might see in the game??

Just wondered??

Cheers

pretty much what you see in your viewport with Use No Lights turned on is how it'd look in a game... without lights, of course.

Here's a sneak peek at the Dire Wolf's final model for chapter 4, made by my buddy Gary.

Here's the last main project character for the book by my buddy Dave. Still some minor models to be made as well.

Looking forward to your new book mtmckinley. Like everyone else it seems, I bought a copy of The Game Artist's Guide to Maya and it is excellent. Just finished reading it through and as soon as the current challenge is over I am going to start modelling my very own Silenus.

Your Calamity Jane model looks great - just read through the entire thread and it was very helpful. Cheers mate! The other models look cool too - I especially like the Dire Wolf by Gary.

Good luck finishing the rest of the book!

Thanks, Arran. I'm scheduled to actually have the entire book's first pass done by the end of this week! Going to be hectic!

And aren't you moving at the end of the month as well??! Don't know how you do it! Hope everything goes according to plan. Make sure you set aside some time in march to relax!
