z brush normal map help...
hey - so i'm trying to get my head around normal maps.
when i add the normal map in maya i get these weird grey banding and contour type lines around my model.
i exported a low poly version to maya from zbrush. then i used zmapper and opened the maya tangent node best quality configuration. i exported a 2k map and in maya i imported the low poly model added the psd file to the bump node using tangent space normals.
i'm using maya 7.1
any idea what's going on?
