Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

insert key (pivot point) in apple aluminium keyboard

hi everyone.
just bought new imac apple, I got problem with apple keyboard, where is the insert key in aluminum apple keyboard to get pivot point,

also i am trying line up some object(box) together (aligning),
I cant use pivot point at this moment, can someone remind me what is the manual way to get pivot point?

I made this boxes, but the aligning is not good, as you see from the image there is some small gap is between them.

what is the easy way to align to object together without small gap.

thanks, if you know something please say something

Until you figure out where it is, make you're own pivot point hotkey.

The "d" key is the key to move around the pivot point on the Mac.

there is no print screen, if you want to take a screen shot you have to use some program called....grab

dubai, there is no print screen key on the mac:
You press SHIFT+APPLE+4
Then just drag across the screen, or just drag somewhere in the screen for "partial" screenshots. The pic will automatickly be saved to your desktop as "Picture 1", and if that is taken, as "Picture 2" and so on.

Oh, that! lol, yeah Command+Shift+3 is the full screen, Command+Shift+4 is for areas (after you start dragging use the space bar to move the area), and hit Command+Shirt+4 then the space bar to capture a window.

The insert key on the Mac keyboard is the Home key. That is, if I understand your question correctly... if you are referring to the key that allows you to reposition the pivot point tool.

Press once to invoke the pivot tool and press Home again to put it away.

you could also use the snap align tools to make sure that two objects are butted up to one another.
