Default Save Animation?

How can i save a animation? like .avi .mpeg4 ?

You have to render it out and i wouldn't go directly to avi or mov i would render a tga sequence for instance, you can find that stuff in the renderglobals

I dont really understand.

I want my animtion into a program like Adobe premier , movie maker... And i want to save the frames in a god format. How can i do that?

ps. my english is not so god
