Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

importing/compositing maya polys

Hi all

I would like to import some simple polygon objects into photoshop for some experimental 'dynamic' looking 3D effect compositions.

Has anyone done this/knows what the process involves?

I assume it requires some specific settings in Maya before being passed over to Photoshop.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated and make me a very happy banana!

Cheers user added image

Just make sure you render out your geometry with alpha channels and you should be good to go.
