Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Nice, thanks. You mentioned we could use characters made by other people but I was planning to adapt current ones - is it permissable to use props made by other people as Icky kindly offered me some assistance with those?

No problem. The only stipulation is that you are responsible for all of your own entry's animation.

RULE ADDITION!

15) You cannot shorten or lengthen the provided clips. You can, if you'd like, change their pitch.

Mike

I would like to enter the animation contest but I have two questions for you:

1). I am not sure if I will have time to complete the project so when is the submission deadline?

2). I have done animation in Animation:Master before but only a little bit in Maya, so would I be classed as Newbie?

Tickety boo and ta ta for a bit...

1) Halloween at midnight (Oct. 31st). There is a possibility we'll extend it another month. Not sure yet.

2) That's up to you. user added image

I'd certainly like an extension on this challenge, especially as I haven't been able to start work on it yetuser added image
