I would leave the texturing and glossyness of the car until you have finished modelling a> it will reduce your render times and b you cant properly appreciate how it will look until you are finished the modelling.

here is the front grill did really know how to make it but this looks just like the ref pic minus the vw emblem. the beams are a big block i need to fix that later.
