HI all
i have this image with bump map lines on it and it renders fine on default lighting
left image but when i add physical sun and sky this happens...can anyone pls tell me what im doing wrong

did you correct the gamma on the texture? perhaps its just washed out.

havent done that i thought you only apply gamma correction node to your diffuse maps not bump maps let me try and get back to you

well you could just change the gamma in the framebuffer to 0.4545 and set the gamma of the sun and sky to 1... that might work.

No need to gamma correct bump maps as they don't feed info into any color channels. I think the problem on the underside is stemming from the ambient lighting, if whatever is beneath it is light colored then I can see that happening when it throws its color onto the balloon.

nope i used a bump map on the basket and it worked perfectly fine very weird whats going on...............anymore suggestions
