I love it,

- How did you get that grainy yellowish look in the second image?
- Where and for how much did you get it 3d-printed?

My guess is the grainy yellow is AO with low samples composited over color/shadow etc.

oh, haha i thought it was a render.

Yeah, I know eh? I thought so too at first.. but the broken beams on the right side gave it away.

Haha, why would that give it away?

In the right hand wing/propeller - not sure what it's called - two of the beams connecting the outside circles to the centre are bent/melted... All the other renders are perfect, so I figured this must be a 3d print.

was it shapeways? must have been expensive. :P

DaVinci 3D Exhibition.

The entire National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci” was hosted a collective of young unestablished designers under Tom Dixon’s MOST exhibition.
The talk around town discussed how MOST design festival’s context did the Designers block exhibitors favors, good green designs shining a lot at this year’s show.
Several 3D Experiences created with 3DS 3DVIA Studio were presented for the first time during the event, including:

The Paddle Boat interactive experience where the complete concept as well as mechanics are explained in a very beautiful 3D context.
Those of you equipped with Xbox gamepads will also be able to play with it.

I would like to see the model, real, the other the 3D on the same angle. It appears the one on the rights axle is in a different spot? Pretty damn cool though man..
