Another Angle

I added a bit more color. I'm thinking that part of his legs are beginning to look bare...

Hmm, it would help if I actually posted the image :D

Looks pretty cool. It needs pincers though... every good spider has them. It's a very clean looking model. Good work.
|
Thanks for the words Mhcannon. Yes, I think you're right about the pincers. I'll add them on too. It isn't a spider without some to bite with :D
|
nicely done man, looking forward to updates :p
|
It's been a while, and I haven't had much time to work on this. Made some really small changes. Can you find them?

if u animated this thing, it would look tight, once u learn how to make it move like a spider :attn:

Here's another robot I'll be adding in the scene. These are just its legs.
|
very nice, a suggestion would really crank this work up, select some of ur cylinder joints and go to edit polygons->bevel, its a very useful tool

I think I might change the way his thighs look. |

While bevel makes non-organic models look good, it also removes the uv's. That's why I steer away from it.
|
Yes, I tried the bevel on my robot and got some strange results. Some of them made it appear as if nothing had happened, yet the inner side of the robot's leg hinges had been re-arranged somehow.
