Ice shader?

Hi!
I would like to know if one of you has an idea on how to create an ice shader like the one the ice cubes on the following image have:

the best way to learn is to download such a shader and taking a look at its hypershade graph to see how the nodes stack together to create the effect.

Ice Shader

Second possibility is, to stick together your own shading network...use some of the shading utilities, like sampler info aso.

maybe, you can't create the look you want, but get a good idea of the way they work together....just play around a bit...it's great fun...believe me....

Shading

Some Shaders are included in the maya shader library, that comes with maya....another good source is Highend3D.com

just browse the web m8...search and you will find....

Halleluja !!!

OK!
Now, I found a shader that looks nearly like the one that I want to create but how Do I import the shader in the hypergraph?
Sorry for that post

-> Import is really easy to use...

MMB drag&drop (hopefully) ;O))

in the hypershade window, go to File > Import. Choose the .ma or .mb file and import it in. Should appear in your list of materials.
