Well it's been a while since i last posted because i've been studying anatomy and working on the topology for caracters and even though i've come a long way i still need more work.

And here is after tweaking it a bit in zbrush

Looks pretty good, the first flaws I see is that the buttocks are way to defined and that the feet look funky. They're too big, especially the heels.

I agree with Dj on this, but everything else looks really good.

Theres been quite a flare in Organics around here! It's kinda cool. Will help allot to see each others work!

Thanks alot guys for the comments, as i said i am still developing my skill and hope to make them better next time. Here is the second caracter that i am currently working on, as you can see it's not finished and i made him less defined, and will make some muscles on him when i will export him into zbrush. Also i think i know why the first caracter looks kinda disproportional, because i had bad references of a human.

Mayaniac 09-08-2008 05:10 PM

This new one already looks allot better!

Yes Mayaniac i agress there are a lot on threats about organics and the reason is that organic modelling i probably the hardest and the most enjoable to do especially when you work on you model in zbrush and get to fine detail. Hope these experiences help us all improve!!!

Don't get me wrong AlexanderH i enjoy any type of modelling but to be a good modeller you need to master both

Thanks younglion, here is the wireframe, also this is the first time i am using this topology and i'm not sure it's correct, what do you guys think?

Started a third caracter and changed the topology slightly on the back also i used a head from an older caracter so i had to change a bit the topology for the head to fit. Even thought the second caracter looks realistic this topology is alot simpler.

Can't say much on the new version since its still in the rough stages it seems, but the previous guy needed a lil bit of definition in the tummy area, its not toned or pudgy its kinda just there.
