Muscles

Is there an easy way to create muscles and achieve awesome results. Im a newbie so i was wondering if there was a way like sculpting surfaces you know. If you know a way, please tell me

Well, Mike would be a better person to ask, but there is a new Muscles mel script for controlling skin influence etc. at Highend at the moment....

are you talking about modeling muscles or animating muscles flexing and whatnot?

For modeling, I'm not sure what to tell you other than to get some muscle reference and go at it with polygons or your geometry of choice.

For animation, I like to use blendshapes to simulate muscles flexing but you can also use influence objects and the like.

yeah but is there a special way of modeling the muscles, like is there a special selection under the drop down menu made to make muscles?

i wanna know what tools i need

no, there is no "Bicep Tool." ;)

It's just a matter of modeling. I prefer to use polygons.

Good luck!

hi

Well,in my case i usually use NURBS cylinders with a pretty good amount of isoparms...i then add a lattice to the cylinder to further simplify the tweaking process with more smoothness. Also consider using a reference plane for more precision and ease of work.
