Dragon Head
 

Its getting there gradually - i have only been doing 3d modelling for about 3 weeks these tutorials are great. what do you think so far guys?

looks pretty good so far... the head to me looks a little flat.

your right - i didn't even notice, i was trying to make it a fairly wide head but i may have gone over board.

I have to say....that is EXCELLENT for only having done 3D modeling for 3 weeks! :D I could never do anything like that after modeling for 3 weeks.... :bored: Keep up the great work, deathwish! ;)

yup it truly is amazing what forking out the dough for a couple tutorials can get you.. i'm 3 months in and i could probably pull that off without a tut.. but i'd be spending hours on it:(

thanks for your input guys, I am the same think i have done that dragon head tutorial about 30 times and the actual model itself i have restarted about 4 times - dam annoying but all part of the learning process i suppose.

i like the white and teal one... it's good for a first model. you might want to pinch the geo in a bit around the horns so the color doesn't edge out and look weird,

I love the second one! :D I would definately keep going with that idea! Maybe you can have the dragon with webbed feet and everything too if you decide to do a body for it! :)

not a bad idea - i am toying with the idea of making lightening coming from it but that may be taking it a bit far,

No, Lightning would be great! Maybe we cud have a Dragon Breed competition. Forest Dragons, Sea Dragons, Chocolate Dragons. You can never go too far with the ultimate fantasy creature.

Just started the dragon tutorial myself so maybe i'll play around with it a bit and have poisonous gas billowing out from it. A swamp dragon.
