Ortho viewports disappeared (file attached)
 

Hi,

I'm a relative noob at Maya. Making the transition after 6 years using Lightwave.

I keep getting myself into trouble with my orthographic viewports just going blank. I thought it was an OpenGl problem until I got a chance to open the files on another computer and still they had the same problem.

here's a simple test scene, if anyone will open it. Can you tell me why the OpenGl viewports won't respond to "a" or "f", nor will the grid show up?

I'm sure it's some noob setting I just overrode. But I can't find it in the interface.

what versin of maya are you using? 6.5? cos ive got 6.0 and cant open it ;p

I'm using 6.5

Still don't know what caused it. I've deleted all of my preferences and the problem has gone away. Pulling my hair out for awhile though.
