Technique for modeling a car??

Hello all,

I am planning to make a car with maya. I plan to make the New Mini Cooper (S). I searched the web for the needed material (blueprints etc.). Now I am fasing the question of wich technique I will use to model the car. I am think by mijself to use NURBS, but is maybe more timeconsuming than Polygon modeling. For the result I want to accomplice is NURBS maybe better (to render highres images and or movies).

My question to you all is what would you do?? What do are the bennefits of each different technique??

Thanks!!!

most of the tools you will require are:
Birail tools(all 3 of em)
extrude
and fillet

i am assuming that you know how to use the tools.... goto blissdd.com and click tutorials and then you will find a subaru WRX tutorial... pretty huge... but still takes you indepth on how to create a car using nurbs...

hope its helps,
Tariq ;)
