How to model an F22 Raptor?

Hiya!

I've just recently jumped from 3Ds Max onto Maya for a Class project I'm working on and I need a model an F22 Raptor Jet

Normally I'm more of a polygon person So I'm not really sure how to start. Do I have to work on Nurbs with loft then convert to polys or something??

Is there any free tutorial out there I can use for reference? Much help would be appreciated thanks.

Do whatever you like

If you ever take an art class they'll tell you to break your image down into 2d primatives and add detail.

3d is similar... break your object into 3d primatives then add detail.

1st step: Get a basic shape of the plane in primatives.
