Add frames to animation
Once again I need help :)
My problem this time is how to add frames to an animation so that it runs slower. My situation is that I have an animation that is 1000 frames long, however I think it runs to fast. I would like the exact same things to happen, only slower. If I, for example, would like the animation to run at half the speed, I would like to have 2000 frames, and what previously happened at frame 200 will now happen at frame 400. If I just extend the animation to 2000 frames I get 1000 frames where nothing happens /iasion |
Double the framerate but compile the animation with the original framerate. That should do it...

I had that idea myself, but it seems like there should be some other way. If one wants to make the animation 10% slower or something like that.
How do I double the framerate and compile at original speed by the way. |

At least you had a good idea. That's what counts :)
Well, until someone comes up with an extremely clever way of doing it I'm thinking of rendering the 1000 frames, and when putting it together to a movie decrease the framerate a bit. A decrease by 2 frames per second will give me an almost 10% longer movie, and hopefully not at the cost of smoothness. |
