render for The Sims

My girlfriend loves the sims.. not really to play the game but to make objects and stuff.

I found out how to render in the right camera angles, but i have hit a brickwall with another problem...

how do i render without antialiasing?

and how do i render out the Z buffer?

hope you guys out there can help :)

1. Up the quality settings to production quality in the render globals.

2. Render as an iff and then click the z-depth box, you can then access it in fcheck. get the iff plugin from http://www.highend2d.com/shake/tools/?section=NT to allow you to read iff files in photoshop.

I'd imagine you'd want to actually lower the anti-aliasing setting. You might also try hardware rendering.

depends on if you're trying to do a render that looks like the sims or if you want a higher quality render.

why would you want to knock anti-aliasing out? :O

The Sims has a wierd way of doing things.. if the graphics is antialiased it will have a yellow flare around the edges..
