Mya 4.5 Fluids & Maya 4.0

i am thinking of upgrading to maya 4.5, "Fluids"??? i think you can simulate water in it isn't it? is Maya 4 able to do that too? i am a newbie and i own Maya 4 Unlimited, i think Maya 4 has the ability to simulate water, cant it?

maya 4.5 has tools which specliaze in simulating fluids, so its a lot easier
yes you can do it in maya 4 with softbodies, turbulence etc but its just taking the longer way around it, thats all

Hi tariqrf, I've just been eyeballing "the making of fluid effects" over on the Alias site...serious stuff, like Nem said you can do fluids in 4 but go check out the movie for the full picture on fluid dynamics in 4.5. Imagine Artisan with depth control and you are still not nearly close enough to getting the full picture.
