help with pulling a picture onto a plane
 

Can anyone tell me how to the cartoon dog image onto the plane.....i did what the guy said i dragged the circle that contained my image but when i press 6 nothing happens so idk how to get the image onto the plane...please help

Dragging the "circle" doesnt work for me either. Try selecting the plane, then open your hypershade. Right click on the "circle" which has your image on it, and go to "Assign Material to Selection." After that turn on your hardware texturing (press 6).
