Maya, Shave and a Haircut lighting problem
 

I have tried reinstalling Maya and Shave, but nothing changed. Take a look on this picture with hair on a cube. Here it is clear that something is wrong. The light on the hair is like a circle around the cube. The render is without shadows, because it is too demanding for my PC. I have always rendered without shadows and got good results. The light must be correct on the fur without shadows. I hope someone can help me to solve it.
