Blowing stuff up ! (Explosions)
 

Oke, I am back again...

I have a simple question. I have a model and Iwant to blow it up in gods now how many pieces, including a nice explosion and fragments and other stuff :-)... how do I do that !

Havent' played with it but there is a shatter in the dynamics

tnx.. I have been so focused on modeling that I forget that there are also other tools in maya.. and when you want to do other stuff... we bump in to a problm. I wil have a look at the shatter !. ;)

you can cut the ship up with the cut faces tool then apply a field to all the peices so they blow out like a explosion then apply a gravity field so they fall down to earth

Well..... yes and no... Last week my HD crashed !.. so i lost 6.0 GB of data incuding the explosion... :(.. Now I am trying to figure out how I did it again !...... Computers ! major headache .. :)

I hate computers sometimes. Sometimes I wish I was a garbage man an not a administrator !!!.. hahaahha :)

Yeah, I wanted to be a garbage man once myself, but I'm DEATHLY affaid of needles, and I heard that they have to get regular shots for tetnus etc. and that just made me change my mind:) LOL.


...yeah... I'm a wussy when it comes to needles. hehe..

hahah.. I don't care you can poke me with needle anytime, I do not mind. I also do not mind to go to the dentist. The only thing I hate is going to the barbershop !.. I hate getting my hair cut !
