Texturing makes object transparent
 

Just texturing a box.
When I select the assigned shader and go inside icon, next to the color tab, the object in the viewport becomes transparent.
I tried projection as well as normal, both.
The viewport shows the object transparent and the render shows just a gray box.
ANy idea whats happening?
