URGENT!!!:: Rendering Wireframes

I'm looking for that plugin that lets you render one sided wireframes.

Anybody?

last I saw it was at www.highend3d.com somewhere

Yeah, I checked there too, but for some odd reason, Highend3D takes 4 days and a minute to load. I found a few of them in the tut's archive here though. thanks anyway. :D

Here's one:

Create Wire

You should search the forums also. I remember a thread a while back that had a number of different methods for rendering wires.

hmmm. looks kool, but with my model, if I turned it into a bunch of tubes/paint effects, it would bog my machine down.

Yeah, I found the one with the different methods. Thanks for the info.

Hi Dave,

there is a tutorial about it here... "Single Sided Wireframe Rendering in Maya"... -->
http://www.geocities.com/jozvex/tuto...wireframe.html

Provide3d also has some plugins but they are not free... -->
http://www.provide3d.com

e.g. their plugin Nurbsdata... you can try a 30 day trial demo... however remember to back up your scripts first... otherwise you are screwed when the demo time is over... one of the scripts that gets modified is the Hypershade.mel

regards

Strarup

Also, you could use photoshop to draw over your uv lines, for a nice effect.
