Hello,

Is there a way to attach efficiently two nurbs surfaces that perfectly match ?

The problem is that isoparams are merged in a way i don't want

Help....i'm getting crazy

i feel your pain. when i ran into this problem, i lofted the isoparms together - not perfect way, as you get another thing, but at least it stays connected if you change one of the isomparms. there must be a better solution, but i dont know. i am too new to maya and 3d ...

I have a little tutorial going over clean nurbs attachment at my site. The VIP nurbs tutorials I've done also go through much of the same principles.

You need to remember though, that when patch modeling, your patches will remain seperate... you hardly ever attach the patches together in a patch model.

I thought that patches were stitched at the end of the modeling phase?

they are stitched... but that does not connect the pieces together. That just makes them "flush" together... hope that makes sense...

See the next part of my shark vid for that. Once we get the divx thing sorted out, I'll get them up there. ;D
