Selective Lighting
Hey gang,
Does anyone know how to do exlude/ include lights? If this term is unfamiliar tp any of you... in 3DS Max each light has an attribute that is basically a list. You can add and remove items to this list at will and you set it it either "Include" or "Exluded". When you do so, you are setting this light to either affect only the objects on this list, or everything except the items on this list. I'm guessing you can do something similar in Maya, but I can't find it. Anyone? Thanks, -dann |
Window -> Relationship Editors -> Light Linking -> *
That should get you started :) |
Hi Dann,
eh... I'm not sure if this is useful, but there is a melscript called "Rapid Light Manager" by Ben Rimbey... which selects and shows all your lights in the scene... and it got's a Link/unlink thing... --> http://www.null3d.net/rlm/ it has a lot of other features aswell... :) regards Strarup |
Ahh, the light linker...
