extrude: why does it extrude faces induvidually
When I extrude these faces, they extrude individually. How can I extrude them so that they are in unison, the shape I would like to create would be look like a baseball cap, a shelf, or a fish’s fin. *Basically the edges would need to be joined* |
go to
Polygons>Tool Options>Keep faces together make sure that is checked. then go to extrude your faces again and should get ya what you are looking for post if more issues |
In the channelbox after you extrude, look for "keep faces together"....change it from "off" to "on." If you want to keep the faces together for all extrudes go to the polygon menu:
polygon menu > tool options > keep faces together (make sure it's checked). EDIT: Looks like I type too slow. ;) |
