New Wolf Man

Started a new weird creature... ? I need to correct his upper arms and tweak some more.
What do you think ? |
hehe,,,, looks funny, instead of scary
|
Yes I dont know why, but I always end up with these funny creatures...
|
I think his arms are too big to really "fit" into a charicaturized model. ButI guess it all is relative to the final result.
Is this sub-d Kühl? |
Nope undseth... this one is pure polys. And btw. I think your right about the arms... it will be corrected soon.

Now trying to make him look a bit more scary
|
I think changing his eye expression would help alot in making him more scary, at the moment his eyes suggest "Hey look at me I'm happy!", so possibly adding in a few frown lines making them more 'menacing' :) Looks great tho, love the teeth!

update...
Any suggestions to make it look more cool ? The eyes are bothering me a bit. BTW, this is my first time modelling cloth in polys... Lowpoly count 1158. |
I think the head could use with a little bit more attention near the back and also the muscle structure needs some tweaking.Looking good though! :)

I will try and work a bit with the muscles as you suggested. Never played with that before for real... So it should be fun. Any good tuts on how to tweak muscles ??? |
I'd add some vertices (eg: split polygon tool) and make him a bit rounder, he looks a bit too 'cubelike' to me.
Also round his teeth of a bit backwards. And maybe add some blood traces on them? |
one sug: even if you are previewing just increase the anti-aliasing level... uh... i hate those un-antialiased stuff

I did as suggested...
I'll add some blood on the teeth as one of the last steps (how am I supposed to do that? Paint in photoshop?) |
