do you have any files in the temp folder? I know if you kill maya on linux it saves before it does.

No i've searched ... Ok here is the deal ... i remodel it ... But i still want to know is there any plugin for backuping models or recover... or for autosave ?

Maya has an incremental save feature in the save as option menu box.

With regards to losing files, if its an internal error usually maya will save it as a .ma file to your local temp folder, and is usually dated along with a time recorded too.

As for your cable being pulled, its kind of like a power cut so its highly unlikely your work will have saved.
