Problems with maya views

1 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,

When I'm modelling in the perspective view and zoom in the object I lose the object for a part. And in other views I see nothing!

Check the pic please. I don't know what to do:headbang:!

Can someone please tell me what to do?

Thanks.

If you solve my problem then I buy you a !

okay you need to

1. update graphic card drivers
2. get a new graphic card if 1 dont work

look at your other views ..they are missing compass ...(xyz)

that is what it usually is ..graphics card drivers are wrong or graphic card cant handle maya

maybe your working units might be in feet or something. if you change to cm it might do that trick but maybe your far clipping is too low.
first go to your perpective and go View --> Select Camera.
look at the camera attributes. the 2 last ones are near clip plane and far clip plane. change the far clip plane to something like 1000.

yeah, i'm definitely sure it's your far clip plane set too low, maybe you have it set at like 20-40, change it to 1000 like what 13th_residetn said.

Near clip is set at 0.003 and far clip at 32.808. I changed the far clip to 1000 as you said and the problem is solved. :attn: :attn: :attn:
I did the same to the other views. Thanks mate. 13th_resident I owe you a beer ;)
