hey tariqrf - i like the tires and the frame... nice work!

the spokes seem a little thick tho... and i wonder if there are too few of them...

also what happened to the seat? are you working from a reference model? that's the best way i believe...

i think it's a good beginning but you can take it a lot further... :)

thanx.. i decided that i will change it from finished work to work in progress.. i am going to add the brakes, the chains, a better seat.. nuts and bolts... this that... phew.... i have another final half day to work on it...

wish me luck,
Tariq

ground needs a little work, over all the bike is very nice!

Danny is the gallery decider, I will leave him to give final desisions

I already gave Tariq comments in IRC, and, like he said, he's going to continue work on it. Here is a snippet from the chat log:

Code:

[1:53:41] danny: looks really good
[1:53:48] danny: there are a few areas that are a bit odd
[1:53:50] Tariq: gallery???
[1:53:53] danny: not just yet
[1:54:16] danny: the area where the seat connects to the body looks blurred
[1:54:18] Tariq: ok
[1:54:21] danny: not sure what's going on there
[1:54:37] Tariq: i did that... there was a small mistake there... what if i fix it???
[1:54:58] danny: tariq: also, maybe it's the camera angle, but it looks like the frame crosses into the rear tire
[1:55:28] danny: tariq: you should definitely fix the blurred area
[1:55:35] danny: right now, it draws attention to it
[1:55:40] danny: "look at me! I'm a mistake!"
[1:55:44] danny: definitely don't want that

Are you going to put a chain and sprockets etc on the bike or is it going to be a strictly downhill bike?

Any chance of some suspension too?

lol :) didnt notice that until you pointed it out!

For me the ground looks wrong, it seems like the bike is massive compared to the ground, the ground looks like a mountain range. There needs to be more detail and dirt etc on the ground maybe some rocks grass etc. It's little details like that that will elevate this pic (Which is good don't get me wrong) from good to excellent

Also, sorry, just noticed that the tires look too flat on the raised rubber bits.

Keep up the good work though!!

Alan
