Character Shot, Update - no 56k!

Hey there,
Hope you like it. It´s my first Maya Model - Polygonal Modeling/Subdiv Surfaces (CPS Scripts). Edit: Well, guess I´ve to add a few more words ;-) It´s not anyhow finished yet - the back area is not done yet, I´m working on it. It misses a LOT of detail and I have to adjust it, so it´ll be possible to use it as a right and a left shoe. Hope I´ll be able to texture it properly, maybe someone knows a few good Maya Texturing Tutorials? It´d be great if there´s an equivalent of Texporter available! |
looks awesome man, good work :D

seen that before....I forgot. or maybe it was similar. But this image is already saved in my mind. I may be a bit crazy.
I like it. But...a shoe with a part of a leg....and the rest? rofl :P |

as for Texporter, i think that feature is built in to Maya's UV editor, so you're in luck. looks excellent:) |

Alright.
First of all: I actually dont have that much time and therefore this update is not a milestone. I'll use those parts for several models: a) Link Model: Just for the sake of it. I always wanted to model him :-) b) A Dwarf: For my first Maya Animation. Wireframe + smoothed: |
