Terragen!
I downloaded the trial for the third time or so, but I still find it VERY annoying that I cannot seem to produce decent images, in regard to pixelation.
The test images are rendering as a really bad and blocky image. This has something to do with the maps i guess but what is the solution??? The rendering-settings are at full quality and of course below the pixel-size-restriction. It... is... so frustrating to see great Terragen renderings around the web, and I'm still sitting here with really bad renderings. Any terragen users out there? |
Heres an example

What's the render quality at? That looks like the preview setting.

Have you used Terragen Darkon?
|
Oh, preview...
Yes, I see :)! Heh, didnt know it affected the main rendering. It "should" have only effect on the preview, since this setting is put right under preview. But I'm not complaining. |
Isn't the trial version limited to only a certain amount of antialiasing?
Can't remember... |
Yes, the ultra option in unavailable.

Terragen is one hell of a program!
|

I have used Terragen a bit, but much prefer Vue d'Esprit for landscaping. Really nice program and cheap as hell, list is 199.00 USD :)
