Crash while importing a 3d scan
 

I'm trying to import a 3d scan to make a retopology for it. I use OBJ file, and every time after I choose the model and press "Import" Maya freezes for a minute or two than crashes. I've tried different scans but this always happens. The software I use to export OBJ is Artec Studio 14 version.

The Issue was because of too many triangles in the model. Maya was just unable to handle such amount of polygons.
So had to play with Studio's settings to find the right mesh density.
However I do need denser mesh to bake nice normal map, so I've found out that Zbrush works nice with such numbers of polygons.
