Money Conversion

Hi

I was thinking of buying points but I am in Europe, and the conversion from pounds you have is way out of whack.

At today's rates 30 pounds is 32.60 euro, not 44 plus euro.

Will look elsewhere.

Cheers Stan

way of wack LOL.....really.... :headbang: the pound is slightly weaker than the euro - still its climbing slowly and the dollar is getting there too. these are the conversions today, 25th March.....

30.00 British pounds sterling = 44.02 US dollars
30.00 British pounds sterling = 32.38 Euros
30.00 Euros = 40.79 US dollars

its just the way things are right now...good luck if you get a better deal

Hi

go to Buy Points (35points) pounds = 30
change it to euro- do again euro = 44.6

go to http://www.xe.com/ and convert

30.00 GBP = 32.3903 EUR

Cheers Stan

11 Euros difference isn't a hair.

11.00 EUR = 10.1777 GBP

it is one third more paying in Euros.

how is that 11 difference? You have 11 EUR and it equals 10.18 GBP, that's not an 11 difference, thats like .90 difference which isn't even a whole.

i'm with Stan here, £10 is quite a difference. however, why not just pay in pounds and pay the £1.50 bank charge for the conversion.

everyone is a winner!

I think that some of you may have read the op's post wrong; he is pointing out that for a £30 tutorial, it is reasonable to pay around 32 euros (based on conversion rates), not the 44 that the site charges.

He has made a fair point,

cheers
