Bevel ends with zebratexture
 

Hi,

I have the following prob.:

I bevel something...a single edge for expl.
The new face is than filled with an zebrapattern and if I simply apply a texture (file text to color of lamber) to the object, everything is textured except the new face:

No my Question: WHAT IS WRONG...WHERE IS MY MISTAKE...HAVE I OVERSTEPPED SOMETHING??
