Maya text books
I was just curious to know if there are any good text books or training DVD's on how to create 3D characters in Maya? I've seen many online tutorials that cover the basics. There are even in depth DVD's teaching how to create a super detailed head, however, I've not seen anything on how to create a detailed human body! Can anybody suggest anything?
Thanks |
There's craploads of books on Amazon. My favorite is the hypermodeling one, but then I lost it on the monorail...:headbang: But you can always google search for maya books or something like that.

The freedom of teach DVD is about as good as it gets for realistic human anatomy modeling. I have it...it's fast-paced but super-detailed. Was done in Maya 7, IIRC.
