fixing points of a wire?
 

I am building a complex device which has a fixed hose at one end and a moving end of which the hose is also fixed. I would like when the moveable device is translated up and down via its guide rods for the hose to move accordingly and stay fixed at its respected ends. Would i use a section of joints and then bind the hose to these joints for this to work correctly? and if so how do i attach the ends of the joints to the item to make them stay at those points?

Pictures please... we need to see how much it's really complicated...
Did you try to just parent it?
