good Maya character animation article
The latest issue of Game Developer Magazine (Feb 2003) has a great article about Insomniac's character animation system. It talks about how they used Maya to develop a character rigging and animation pipeline for over 50 characters in Ratchet & Clank. It's some pretty advanced stuff, but it's good reading and inspiration for all you budding character animators and technical directors out there.
