Republic Blaster
Hey guys, here is a model that I finished for a project that I am working on. I'm pretty happy with everything on it, as I found a chrome shader for the top part of the blaster and actually textured the handle by myself. Anyways, check it out and post your comments! :)

the handle is too blocky, but the rest is ok..............:beer:

I'm not sure what you mean by blocky, it isn't supposed to be rounded, if that's what you mean? Or do you mean that where it curves it's a bit too block? If so, I can see that a little bit, but I dont think it's too bad, and I couldn't make it any higher poly than what it is, because it is for a game.

Seems rather high for a game, how many triangles is that?

Um 4489 tris and 2,400 polys. It's a little high for a pistol, but falls into the rifle and heavy mg category of the game that I'm modding for of 3000 and 4000 polys respectively.

Hey nice work. The only part which makes the blast bad is the handle part. Other than that the reflection and everything is good. So just keep on trying :beer:
