Duplicate clips in Trax messed up
 

Hi,

I've just started trying to use the Trax editor to loop a run cycle using clips. (I haven't done this before and am pretty new to Maya in general) The problem I am having is that the original clip plays fine but when I duplicate it to extend the cycle the animation goes wrong; the leg positions change and distort and generally look nothing like the original clip. Any ideas why this might happen?

I have a feeling it might be to do with the Ik handles on the legs because the arms are fine and they haven't got IK handles, but can't understand why the original clip plays out fine.

Any help greatly appreciated.
