opinion between 2d and 3d motion blur
hows it going,
I've been kind of confused on which of the two(2d and 3d) blur give me better results. I've been rendering my shots occasionally with one of the two but I still can't figure out which one i like better as far as realism and aesthetic pleasure. you guys have any personal preferences? like which one do you guys tend to choose without really thinking about it anymore cause you know it works out best for you. and I dont really care about render times. thanks, -Dan |

really? but wouldnt it be hard to post mini blurs on somone's movements that was doing jumping jacks for example? cause you gotta put like a small rotating blur on his arm and then his leg...

there r certain things that are too awkard to do in post and as of yet i havent done little things just big things y dont u post up two renders one with 3d the other with 2d so we can have a gander |
ya sure. I explain my comments right on the image. this is a simple shot of a soldier pulling out the gun from a guard and i tried using both 2d and 3d blur:
