CAN SOMEONE HELP ME

I want to make the strings using nurbs curves....but how do i create the curve and then attach it to a cylinder or extrude it from one or something in that nature so that all i have to do is create the line and then have Maya build the dense using extrude or any other method for creating these strings....thanks

Looks pretty oggd, but aint the machine heads really small?

for the curve/string question, make a cureve then make a nurbs circle, select one then the other and do an extrude.

What version are you working with? Because that hard edge that is supposed to be smooth can either be fixed with the polygon sculpt tool, or by selecting the vertices of that edge manually and pusing them up and in a little.
